Interior Fitting of a Penthouse Flat with Black Groove Structure

In a spacious penthouse flat, MAETZLER was commissioned to carry out a beautiful bespoke interior with fitted kitchen, cooking island, built-in cupboards, doors and all connecting wall panelling. All visible fronts were produced in black-stained oak veneer with an irregular grooved profile.

The built-in elements had to appear as if they were made of one piece, as no mismatched joint or interruption was allowed to be visible between the individual built-in elements. The groove structure was continued over all elements according to precise specifications, which was an exciting challenge for our construction planning.

The fitted kitchen fits in perfectly with the overall concept. An LED strip was used to create all-round effect and ambient lighting. MAETZLER was also responsible for the bathroom furniture and the wall cladding in the bathroom.

The object is a great example of our strong competences in the implementation of sophisticated architecture and the intensive cooperation and consultation with architects. Find out more about MAETZLER architecture realisation here.
